History of Jaggayyapet

The site was known as Betavolu in the past and was renamed as Jaggayyapet by the zamindar of Chintapalli Raja Vasi Reddy Vankatadri Nayudu reconstructed the village in memory of his father. He was great leader of the 18th century.
